Fernando Afonso Salla

Biografia

Fernando Afonso Salla holds a BA in Political and Social Sciences from the São Paulo Foundation School of Sociology and Politics (1975), an MA (1991) and a PhD (1997) in Sociology from the University of Sao Paulo. He currently serves as an associate researcher at the Center for the Study of Violence of the University of Sao Paulo. His experience is in the field of Sociology, focusing on Sociology of Violence, and working primarily under the following subjects: prison, public policy, violence, criminal justice, and adolescents in conflict with the law.
