Democratic Governance, Violence, and the (Un)Rule of Law
Contemporary violence cannot be explained by referring exclusively to historic elements; the incapacity of democratic governance to reform state institutions certainly bears a greater impact at the present juncture. The (un)rule of law continues to prevail for the underprivileged.
